Hope Community Church

Hope Community puts its focus on offering an available connection for each member of the family of any age group. From our fun loving childrens’ ministry program to the Prime-Timers, adult-aged, bible study group; each person of your family will be able to connect Hope to the heart.

  • Class 101:Class 101 allows visitors and newcomers to informally learn about the background, beliefs, values, and history behind Hope Community Church and the Reformed Church In America. Those curious to learn more about Hope Community should contact Pastor Terry at the church office or Beth also at the church office.

  • Music/Drama Ministry:Do you love to Sing, or maybe even Act?
Here at Hope Community we are always looking for new hearts and passions to add to the service. Although talent is helpful, Hope Community puts the main emphasis on having a heart yearning to worship and give praise to the One its due. If you have any interest in music or drama, contact the church office (402) 423-8855 or email us at hope@hopechurchlincoln.org

  • Technical Crew:Hope Community continually pushes itself on trying to embrace new technology to further reach and depth of its ministry, and to also increase the connections members make with each other. Hope Community has constant needs for help and consulting with web site functionality/design, PowerPoint production and presentation, multimedia presentation, and developing new knowledge and capabilities to stay ahead of the curve. If interested please contact Dawn at the church office or Matthew Hansen 402-435-6505

  • Newsletter Ministry:A major vehicle for communication and outreach is our church newsletter. This ministry really needs people willing to write articles, sell ads and greetings, and help with monthly mailings. If you have skills in the area of communication, you will find the newsletter a great way to do ministry and to reach out to others.

  • Faith Weavers:The FaithWeavers group meets each Sunday morning from 9:30 to 10:15 AM. Participants study the Bible using the FaithWeaver Curriculum, which is the material used in the Children's Ministry at Hope. Newcomers are always welcome. Those who have youngsters in Children's Ministry should consider FaithWeavers.

  • Hospitality Ministry:Hospitality serves refreshments after the Sunday morning worship services. This time of fellowship gives the church body an opportunity to connect socially with one another. They often oversee church dinners and potlucks. If you have organizational or food preparation skills, this ministry may be the one for you.

  • Prayer Partner Ministry:Our church body believes in the power of prayer. The Prayer Partners meet regularly to pray for the ministries, the pastor, and the congregation. They also mail out prayergrams when requested. This group welcomes all who want to join them in intercessory prayer.

  • Outreach Ministry:This ministry provides a great deal of the community outreach of our church. They manage a monthly offering and a food pantry that helps those in need. If you would like to lend a helping hand to those in need this is the ministry for you.
