In many churches, the term "member" is used to describe someone who is a committed person identifying themselves with a church. While we don't judge, at Hope we strive to use the term family member. In changing this terminology, we hope to model the Hope we have in each other: not in membership dues, structure...but in a partnership, marriage, and relationship with one another. As family members, we we lift each other up, take our good and bad moments, and work in partnership to be Christ's visible body to a broken world.
Curious how to become a family member? Throughout the year we offer 'Family Member' discussion: an introduction to Hope Church. When offered, this class typically occurs on a second Sunday of the month from 9 to 10 AM. We'll use the hour get to know you and introduce you to our Pastor and some of our leaders. Our "Cup of Hope" coffee and food will be available for your enjoyment. If you haven't already been invitied or notified of the next coming class, please RSVP with our Office Administrator email@example.com The training course will answer many of your questions about who we are, what we believe and so much more!
